New office launched in Bansko

Interlink Sun Homes have had a fantastic start to the new year marked by the opening of their new office “Sun Homes BG” based in the Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko. It was a great achievement for a local company started just over 2 Years ago by its two directors George Sorial and Nigel Murton.

Bansko Office

Nigel has been out in Bulgaria for the last month overseeing the project whilst George has taken care of things in Sheffield. The office officially opened in December, in time for the ski season, and offers expert advice in all aspects of purchasing property abroad, as well as offering a Property Management service to its new and existing clients. Director Nigel says “because we have offices in Sheffield and Bansko we can provide a full service to our clients, as well as build up relationships with developers, it also means we are on hand to hear of any new developments. When clients return to the UK they have the added benefit of a local office to continue their purchase and get further advice.” The new office is a charming 200 year old stone building located within the Central Square which is pedestrianised with monuments and fountains, and a large market is held there each Sunday. It is an ideal location for a real estate company being so centrally placed, and the distinctive red signage really makes it stand out from the crowd. It looks set to be as successful as its Sheffield counterpart. The staff from Interlink Sun Homes have recently been on a fact finding mission to the Bulgarian Ski resort of Bansko. For the two girls this was their first visit, Nigel has visited many times , so his partner George was left in charge of the office for a few days while we set off for Manchester Airport.

Dawn & Diane in the centre

We were really looking forward to seeing the resort first hand after seeing many photos and reading literature about it, it didn’t disappoint us at all, it was more than we expected. It was quite late when we arrived but the town was still buzzing, many restaurants were still full and live music could be heard from the dozens of bars around the town. When we woke the next morning and looked through the window the view can only be described as awesome. The sun was shining, the sky was clear blue and the mountains with their snowy peaks were breathtaking, we couldn’t wait to explore! We walked around the town, which is charming with stone buildings and cobbled streets, we even saw donkey carts and goats which added to the rustic traditional feel. We went into the main square where Interlink have opened their new office, Sun Homes BG ,which is opposite the monuments and fountains. The square looked stunning with Christmas trees decorated by hundreds of lights. On Sundays a large market is held there selling many different wares including traditional Bulgarian goods. Our next stop was the Gondola station and we took a trip up the mountain which took about 20 minutes, it really was picturesque and made us all feel like hiring ski’s! Then it was back into town for lunch, two of us chose a traditional Bulgarian Bean soup and Nigel had a chicken dish which actually looked much nicer than ours! As it was cold outside we decided to have hot Mulled Wine which I can highly recommend, and certainly warms you up. When we left the restaurant it had started to snow and the town looked magical.
