To the rear of the apartment and accessed privately from the patio is a small outdoor shaded garden area which offers additional privacy and shading from the year-round sun which falls on the apartment.

The building is supplied by mains water into an underground water tank and a water pump which supplies the individual water tanks on the roof for each apartment.
